Front-of-house team member (m/f)
What will you do?
As a Front-of-House team member at Tante Koosje, you're the face our guests see. You make sure they feel welcome and leave with a smile. You start the shift with mise en place, prepare the restaurant and make sure everything is spotless. In the evening you're responsible for your own tables and give guests the service they deserve. In practice, this means you:
- Prepare the restaurant: setting tables, polishing plates and tidying up
- Welcome guests and explain the dishes and wines
- Bring out and present dishes
- Serve wines and process orders
- Stay in close contact with the kitchen so everything runs smoothly
- Close the evening by tidying the bar and dining room
Who are we looking for?
We're looking for an enthusiastic hospitality professional who enjoys personal contact with guests and has an eye for detail. You're independent, energetic and passionate about the craft. Experience in hospitality is preferred, and you're someone who's grounded and fits well in a close-knit team. You also bring:
- Experience in (upscale) hospitality, preferably 2 to 5 years
- Passion for hosting and an eye for quality
- Collegiality, independence and enthusiasm
- A down-to-earth attitude, both feet on the ground
- A driving licence and own transport is useful given the location
