Bistro Tante Koosje B.V. (trading as "Restaurant Tante Koosje"), located at Kerkstraat 1, 3632 EL Loenen aan de Vecht, the Netherlands, registered with the Dutch Chamber of Commerce (KVK) under number 30052393, is the data controller for the personal data described in this privacy policy.

What data we collect
We process the following personal data, depending on how you interact with us:
- Website visits (only with your consent): via Google Analytics 4 we collect anonymised usage data such as pages visited, time on page, and device type. This only happens after you've given consent through the cookie notice on the site.
- Reserving a table or ordering a gift voucher: our website uses the Frank (MeetFrank) booking tool. When you make a reservation or order a voucher, Frank processes the data you enter directly, typically your name, email address, phone number, party size, date and time, and any notes (e.g. dietary requirements). This data doesn't pass through our own systems, except as needed to fulfil your reservation.
- Applying for a job: if you respond to a vacancy, you send your details directly to us by email. We use this solely to run the application process.
- Contact by email or phone: the data you provide yourself (e.g. name and email address), so we can answer your question.
Why, and on what legal basis
- Analytics cookies: based on your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). You can withdraw this consent at any time.
- Reservations and gift vouchers: to perform the contract you enter into with us (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).
- Applications and other contact requests: based on our legitimate interest in responding to your request (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR), or to take pre-contractual steps at your request.
Cookies
Our website uses the following types of cookies:
- Analytics cookies (Google Analytics 4): only set once you consent via the cookie notice. Your choice is remembered locally in your browser; you can change it at any time via "Cookie settings" at the bottom of every page.
- Functional cookies: set by the Frank booking tool once you actively use it to make a reservation, needed for that functionality to work.
Sharing with third parties
We only share personal data with parties that process it on our behalf (processors), or where legally required:
- Google (Google Ireland Limited), for website statistics via Google Analytics 4, only after your consent.
- Frank (MeetFrank), for processing reservations and gift-voucher orders.
We do not sell personal data to third parties.
Retention
We don't keep personal data longer than necessary for the purposes it was collected for, or as long as the law requires. Analytics data in Google Analytics is retained per our Analytics account settings; reservation data is managed via Frank's platform.
Security
We take appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal data against loss or unlawful processing, including a secure (HTTPS) connection for this website.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to:
- access your personal data;
- have inaccurate data corrected;
- have your data erased;
- restrict the processing of your data;
- object to the processing;
- data portability;
- withdraw previously given consent (e.g. for analytics cookies) at any time.
